Heads up! Pass it around! Make your plans! Get your tickets or rent your plane!
If you're an engineer skilled in aspects that are relevant to aviation, and in this engineer-hungry business environment you're looking for a place to launch a new chapter in your career, then Piper Aircraft, in Vero Beach, Florida, might be the direction to look. If you would like to be a part of a vibrant smaller company with a stunning product legacy and an exciting future of both jets and props, and expanding horizons in both products and marketing reach, and if you would like to have a hand in launching the sweetest little jet to come, then Piper is where you want to be.
There are positions in the PiperJet Altaire program, Piper's single-engine jet, which is soaring toward a product launch in 2014, as well as in sustaining programs. We are already building the parts, with sights set on conforming prototypes, and expanding production structures in anticipation of the finished product of the jet.
If you're in Wichita, Kansas, or able to head there, even better. Meet folks from Piper on October 7:

Vero Beach is close to everything from the Kennedy Space Center and Orlando and Daytona Beach to Tampa and Miami. But it is not too close. That's why a lot of people like it, including many retired executives and folks who simply love the beach. It's got culture, a beach, and a nice -- not what you'd call wild -- night life.
