Two of "Buffalo Bill" Cody's great-grandsons were among three men killed in Florida aircraft crash. This site is just west of Vero Beach, where I live and work.
Kit Cody’s son-in-law, Bryan Edwards, told [newspaper] The Cody Enterprise of Cody, Wyo., that the brothers were the great-grandsons of “Buffalo Bill” Cody, best known for his Wild West show, which ran from the 1880s to the early 1900s.
Edwards said the three men had been “island hopping” in the Bahamas before the crash. ...
