Freedom of Government: Yahoo webcam images intercepted and stored

FREEDOM OF THE GOVERNMENT

A spokeswoman for Yahoo said the actions of the surveillance agencies represented “a whole new level of violation of our users’ privacy”.

This rather than FREEDOM OF THE PEOPLE. Are people still saying none of this concerns them? Or does it concern them and they are too apathetic, or feel too powerless, to help do anything about it? I guess the message of 1776 is completely lost on them? I don't care where you live, by the way, that message should be clear: the citizens have rights to live free from a tyrannical government.

It seems rather than that message getting out, it is being attacked for not being universally accepted... by governments around the world. Hmm.
